Searching for Excitement
Well, unfortunately it appears an unfufilling work life can affect a great personal life. I'm changing it, but it has taken me far too long to get into my groove here. Looks like taking the best job possible will influence my decision when I graduate more than I thought.
First Tuesday was kind of boring...Being present for a sales presentation was a letdown...I did get excited when I got to go out and meet people for work...maybe I enjoyed sales more than I thought? Well, certainly looks like client contact will be important to me in my future profession...Met up with an alum to help me with a project I am working on and that brought me some motivation! Saw my parents the past two weekends...my sister just got back from Tokyo...managed to find people to go to lunch with this week.
Undergrad university happy hour this week, that should at least be fun. Also, meeting with another T-bird alum to get help on another one of my projects.
Having fun getting ready for the new student orientation week. That actually is pretty exciting, always having the new blood on campus. One of the big things I am looking forward to...hopefully I won't get too excited by it.
