Re-birth Re-do
So, the complete re-birth never quite happened, but at least I'm on my way.
Half-marathon...DONE.
Raising over $4,000 for cancer research...DONE
Blood pressure went from dangerous to God damn I'm a healthy bitch.
Still have a job and still getting paid.
Still, I've been running around in neutral and numb and just haven't stopped to admit it. Health good in some areas, but in others...blah.
Work...I can't believe I'm bored already. Man, the excitement didn't last long...and No, it is not the corporate life getting me down.
So...the real re-birth starts now....
What would excite me?
What's a dream worth battling for?
What would I do and have if I knew I could not fail?

Hi Mike, never met you but I just came across your blog from a google search.. I have never posted to someone's blog before, however, it is a little bizarre but kind of interesting that I have been through several of the same experiences as you have just had in the past year or so. How are you doing so far in October?
I will pinch you so hard that you feel alive!!!!
Okay, not really a concrete threat from across the country. But you get the point.
I certainly sympathize with your sentiments. I know you'll find your groove and passion - just keep on moving on the dance floor. It is sometimes good to recaliberate and re-start the engine.
And one more thing - thanks for running the half-marathon. I'm so proud of you and very grateful that you ran for the cause.
- Saki
